No two people feel the same pose in the same way & to me, that is a beautiful, individual experience! This is Yoga!

The journey of yoga is about self-discovery, self-improvement & self-awareness. By quieting the mind, we are able to let go of the ‘noise’ in our world & nurture our true self, with acceptance of who we are in that moment.

My Yoga journey started years ago with yoga classes and beginning to learn the benefits it offered – both physically & emotionally. I have personally witnessed the changes in my overall health & wellness by weaving yoga, meditation & mindfulness into my daily life. With my completion of the 200 hr yoga teacher training (200 YTT) with DevaTree School of Yoga, I continue to be amazed at the ability of yoga to transform the body & mind. Drawing on my Therapeutic Touch training brings insight & awareness to the energy of others, leading to gentle, thoughtful yoga sequencing, instruction & hands-on assists (hands-on instruction used only if individual permission is granted).

Trained as a Registered Nurse, working in various health care fields for more than 30 years, I am well aware of how the demands of our busy lives wear on our mind & body. My extensive background provides a safe, non-judgemental, open yoga experience for all.
